Felted Elbow Patch

Happy 2016, everyone! Don't you feel like you can do anything in this year? I do! And what better way to start than with a DIY. For those who know me, you know that I'm a kitty fanatic so it felt (see what I did there?) appropriate to make this elbow patch. All it takes it about 10 minutes and voila!

All you need is:

1. Felt
2. Long Sleeved Shirt (Mine was from Uniqlo
3. Felt Needle
4. Sponge

Step 1:

Gather your supplies

Step 2:

Insert the sponge at the elbow

Step 3:

Poke out a design you want. 

TIP: You can use a cookie cutter of your desired shape instead, which would make it easier. I decided to freehand it because felt is easily manupilated and it's easy to fix mistakes

Step 4:

Place enough felt to cover the desired area

Step 5:

Poke, poke and poke some more

Step 6:

Once finished, iron the back of the sleeve

and the front
