Zodiac Jewelry Tray

I don't know about you, but January is rough for me... any year. I always look forward to it, but inadvertently get disappointed. This January was no exception. I find that making things with my hands tends to help. 

So I was in the midst of NYC "genius" idea of a Restaurant week (aka the Asian invasion) and saw this girl wearing a zodiac necklace. I was like, oh that's cool, maybe I could make it on a little tray. BOOM! The idea was born. Here's what you'll need:

• Clay
• Rolling Pin
• Sharp Knife
• Gold paint (or any other)
• Brush

Step 1:

Roll your clay out and measure it about an inch

Step 2:

Roll it out

Step 3:

Cut out your desired shape.

Step 4:

Smooth over the edges with your finger

Step 5:

Find your zodiac

Step 6:

I used a knife to draw little stars

Step 7:

Bake it at 275 degrees for 15 min

Step 8:

Let it cool, connect the stars and paint the edges

Step 9:
