Bourbon Spiced Pumpkin

November 25, 2015 Aika Danayeva
Bourbon Spiked Pumpkin Cocktail

The first time I tried this Bourbon Spiced Pumpkin, the person who came up with the concept told me that he wanted to name it "The Basic." Personally, I was quite disappointed that he didn't go along with it. So since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I hope you keep yourself sane by downing 1 or 5 of these to be around your family :-)

Here's what you need:

  • 2 oz of bourbon (B, my man, prefers Old Grand-Dad, so I just used it, but any other bourbon will do)
  • 0.5 to 1 oz of pumpkin butter (depending on how thick you want the cocktail)
  • 1 oz of lemon juice
  • 3 dashes of bitters

Shake it up with ice, strain and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Let the Alcoholidays begin!
