Beer Can Succulents

November 5, 2015 Aika Danayeva
Beer can succulent

I used to work at this Japanese restaurant and toward the end of my time there, they put these new beers on the menu. Naturally, I freaked out when I saw Wednesday Cat because it had a kitty on the label. The beer hails from Yo-Ho Brewery and tastes similar to a sweeter version of a Hoegaarden.

So in my natural DIY inclination, I wanted to keep the can and do incorporate it in my home. Since we've been on this "greenifying" kick, I figured I'll plant some succulents. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Get yourself a beer can, potting soil and succulents

Step 2: Cut the top off the can

Step 3: Plant your succulents

Step 4: Water them and enjoy :-)
