As far as I remember, hanging out on fire escapes was the most peaceful, very New York thing to do. When I was growing in Washington Heights, hanging out on the fire escape either before bed or occasionally reading on a nice day is an uptown way of pretending that you have a backyard. Since the weather in NYC has been mild, I decided to take this opportunity to watch Luke Cage and enjoy some hot tea with Dizzy constantly checking up on me. I hope y'all have a good week!
