It’s kind of funny how people can read you without you telling them a thing about yourself. The other day, I was offered some food and the person offering it to me said that he didn’t get me desert because I didn’t look like the type of person who would enjoy it. I was floored because I met this person 15 minutes before and he already knew this. But how? I have no idea.
However, my all time favorite desert is gingerbread cookies. I absolutely love them. Either with cold milk or hot tea, they seem to perfect any beverage. I decided on a whim to use this recipe (in the future, I would add a little more butter) and they were just perfect. I ended up having more than I need to while watching Elf but hey, it’s the alcoholidays, right?
