First of all, I've been a bit MIA due to some personal changes that are happening in my life. Second of all, with January being all January like, there was a complete lack of inspirations and ideas. With all that baggage handled, I feel a bit more rejuvenated and excited for some interesting changes in February.

See how happy I am to meet 2016! Jk, kind of. With a new year, there are new opportunities and new worries about making it the best yet. It's quite nerve wracking, no? Well, I decided to seize a fairly warm winter day in NYC and walk with Pep the Basenji and my friend Roger by Chelsea Piers. Regardless of what the year will bring, just remember, change is good!

As the year comes to a close, I can't help but reflect on what a great year it was. Although it has been a year of struggle, it also has been a year of meeting fantastic new people, creating new memories and going on amazing trips to Vermont, LA and South of France. I also can't help but thank for all the friends and family members that have been pillars of support and great joy.

This is not a drill, we're only 2 weeks away from Christmas. Fun fact, I used to hate, I mean, DESPISE Christmas. Then I met my man, who showed me the important of those holidays and the truth is that it is being around people you mostly tolerate and generally love, as long as there is enough alcohol to go around. Thanksgiving came and went and here we are, grumpy on Monday morning, gearing up for several more holidays and dozens of holiday parties. But alas, let's not despair, the weekend is almost near. I've been lusting after a practical camel colored coat since last winter. Once I saw this collarless Uniqlo coat on sale for only $100(!), I snagged it right up. SCORE! So my friend Roger and I set out for our leisurely stroll in Chelsea, whilst eating some dried mango and attempting to feed squirrels with it. Happy Monday :-)

Despite it being September, the weather in NYC tends to still remains warm. And with this beautiful streak of warmth that we were having, I wanted to grasp the last bits of summer by refusing to wear sweaters. Oh Mean Girls, from “So you do? You think you’re really pretty” to “You go Glen Coco!”, it provided us with countless and timeless quotes.
